COURSE
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the training is to provide the participants with
the necessary skills and knowledge to perform and implement problem-solving
techniques in their workplace
The
8-Discipline problem-solving methodology (also
called “8-Step Plan” or TOPS - “Team Oriented
Problem-Solving” is a structured procedure used to arrive
at the root cause of a problem. The systematic approach substantially
improves our chances of solving the real problems, rather than
simply covering up the symptoms.
The participants
will be able to to understand the basic principles of systematic
problem solving and know how to use the analytical techniques
in each discipline of 8-D Method.
CEDAC
stands for “Cause-and-Effect Diagram with Addition of Cards”.
It is a unique and simple approach for creative, participative
problem-solving and it is also a tool for continuous Systematic
Improvement.
The CEDAC
Method was first developed and used in Japan by the Standardisation
Study Group of Sumitomo Electric Industries and it was introduced
and applied in many Japanese, North American and European companies.
Participants
will learn “Window Analysis” for identifying problem
and the principle of CEDAC diagram for analyzing problems and
developing standards.

DURATION - 2 days
CANCELLATION
AND REPLACEMENT
No
refund or cancellation is allowed upon confirmation of registration
by the organizer. A replacement is allowed should the registered
