Integrating the Quality, Environmental and Safety Management Systems

This course is designed to provide an understanding on how an organization may integrate its Quality, Environmental and Safety Management Systems. This course will highlight the similarities of the ISO 9001: 2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements and identify the common issues/ processes/ activities and how these may be harmonized into a common document/ procedure/ task to address all the three management systems.

Day 2

· Integrated SHEQ Risk Assessments: A Group Technique
· Integrated Investigation Systems
· Developing Documentation for Integrated Management Systems

· Concepts and principles of an EMS
· International EMS standards and world trends
· ISO 14001 Elements
· Initial environmental review
· Identification and significance evaluation of environmental aspects
· Environmental policy
· EMS procedures and documentation
· EMS audit and review
· EMS certification; requirements, schemes and preparation
· Getting started in your company
